Hi Squirrels!
Mrs May teaches Squirrels.
We have some really exciting themes in Year 2!
Our theme, ‘Wild Things’ gives us the opportunity to begin to explore the world, animals and habitats.
‘Just Imagine’ will take us around the world again, this time on a boat, possibly as pirates! Argh!
In terms 4 and 5, we will consider ‘How does it work?’ We will be designers and engineers, but this time we will be thinking about all things that fly!
Our final theme is ‘Growing Together’. This theme will see us getting out our green fingers! We will think about how things grow and how things change over time.
Throughout our themes, we will be covering all areas of the curriculum and aim to include a wide and diverse range of inspiration, artists, historical figures etc.
We value family input in our learning, so if you feel you could contribute to our themes please do let us know.
