Class Information
Hello!
My name is Mrs TJ and I am the teacher in Year 6 Herons class. I have been working at Meadowbrook for 6 years so I already have a good understanding of the journey your child has been on. We are so excited to be supporting your children through their last year at Meadowbrook Primary as they move towards the next step in their education. We will be sending home test practise to prepare your children for SATs in May.
We always make the most of our educational visits and we are lucky enough to be visiting Gratewood for camp! Your children will learn to be independent and adventurous in an outdoor environment. Previously, this has always been a fantastic experience and we love sharing photos on Seesaw. Our lifeskills trip is also always a success and I look forward to seeing how your children respond to the different scenarios.
Our themes are uploaded on our curriculum overview with relevant texts and subjects for your information. If you have anything at home to share with school linked to these themes, we would love to see it! Knowledge organisers are uploaded termly – please quiz your children on this to see what they can remember.
