Class Information
Hello and welcome to Dragonflies!
We are so excited to get to know you all and have lots of fabulous learning planned for the year. We have started with ‘Our Blue Planet’, extending our learning from Year 3, and exploring the book ‘The Brilliant Deep’. During terms two and three, we will study ‘Civilisations’, learning about influential groups of people from history (such as the Romans and the Ancient Egyptians) and the impact they have had on the modern world. In terms four and five, our theme will be ‘Flora and Fauna’. We will take a journey deep into the Amazon rainforest to learn all about the amazing plants and wildlife that live there. Finally, we will finish the year by learning about ‘Natural Phenomena’.
Our main method of communication will be Seesaw – home learning will be posted here and we will also use the messaging feature to send reminders. If you are having trouble accessing the service, please let us know!
