Frogs - Year 3
Class Information
Welcome to Frogs’ class page. I am really excited about the year ahead and I am looking forwards to see all the fabulous learning completed in school and hearing about the activities you get up to outside of school on seesaw.
We have an interesting year ahead, starting with ‘Growing Together’ where we will be carrying out an experiment to find out how plants grow and begin to understand how animals, plants and humans can help each other grow.
Our second theme is ‘Settlements’ where we will take a deep dive in history from the Stone Age to the Iron Age, looking at a chronological timeline.
We will then move onto our third theme, ‘Movement’ where we will look at expressing movement in sketching as well as creating working mobiles out of wood. We will also look at historical movement from the invasions of the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings.
Our final topic is ‘Blue Planet’ where we will be focusing on physical geography knowledge and understanding weather. In addition to this we will be looking at our local area from the houses, local landmarks, pollution and tracking the weather.
