Welcome to Bumblebees Class!!

I am so excited to welcome you and your families on this exciting new school journey at Meadowbrook.

I’m Mrs Owen and I’m the class teacher of Bumblebees. Working closely alongside our class in Reception are our teaching assistants Mrs Whittaker, Mrs J, Mrs Porter and Mrs Butt, as well as the Caterpillars class who are taught by Mrs Wheller and Mrs Cable.

We are so excited to be sharing this year with you and can’t wait to take you on some amazing adventures in our learning. We will work closely together to ensure we follow the interests of the children in our year group to make their learning engaging and to provide opportunities to enable your child to become inquisitive and curious learners.

Over the course of the year we will look at different themes which stem from your children’s interests. This may cover superheroes, transport, celebrations and of course finding out all about them. We will use both the indoor and outdoor classroom environment to extend their learning through play and to develop their skills in different areas.

We can’t wait to have fun and make magical memories along the way with you!
